I would think for your husband's and Grandson's purposes, the color would be a huge plus!Wynterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13611293420659353094noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3729634153959663260.post-7971029527237368942011-04-11T09:18:56.806-04:002011-04-11T09:18:56.806-04:00I have the NOOKcolor and never have any eye issues...I have the NOOKcolor and never have any eye issues. I love it for reading in bed at night--no need to turn off the light, because it's got its own. And since you can adjust the brightness, contrast, and even the background, there's a setting that works for just about any lighting conditions. I bought an anti-glare overlay, but haven't even taken it out of the box yet. I don't really care about the color, but Hubster reads scientific journals and wanted that feature. He tried mine and ended up buying his own.

And the color is great when browsing the B&N bookstore--covers show up so much better.

(And grandson LOVES the kid books on the NOOKcolor)

Like everything else, it's about having choices, and someday, maybe, you'll be able to select the features you want from any manufacturer.

Terry
Terry's Place
Romance with a Twist--of MysteryTerry Odellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11610682530545306687noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3729634153959663260.post-45659381548622943512011-04-10T19:43:28.950-04:002011-04-10T19:43:28.950-04:00I think I read more, too. I know some people claim that they read less when they have an ereader, honestly I read more and I only buy books that I love in paper format even if I have it on my ereader.Chudney Thomashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11707028552850529278noreply@blogger.com
